The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance. This role involves 24-hour responsibilities for all maintenance activities at the site.
Job Responsibility:
Supervision: Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to enhance equipment reliability and lifespan
Repairs and Troubleshooting: Oversee repairs and troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions, ensuring quality and efficiency
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs while ensuring quality and efficiency
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability while minimizing waste, while ensuring all financial compliance with parts and order practices
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions
Project Management: Plan and manage maintenance projects, including upgrades, installations, and renovations
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, performance metrics, and compliance with regulations
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals
Training: Work with the team to develop individualized training plans for leads and key maintenance personnel to further their development
Leadership: Set an example for the team in terms of engagement and values that align with 1440 including ownership of work and ability to work together

Requirements:
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools
General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facility maintenance
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred
3+ years of proven experience in maintenance management or related field
