We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a leading New England craft brewery, based in their Seaport, Boston facility. This is a working leadership role in a fun, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment. We need someone who can manage priorities and build strong systems while staying engaged on the floor with the team. The ideal candidate brings solid maintenance leadership experience, strong technical aptitude, and a positive, flexible attitude — someone who can troubleshoot equipment, coach technicians, and help scale operations following a recent company merger and growth phase.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and develop the maintenance team across sites (focused on Seaport location)
Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support
Prioritize and manage work orders through Maintenance Connect (CMMS)
Drive preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability
Manage vendors, contractors, budgets, and parts inventory
Build scalable systems that improve uptime, safety, and operational performance
Requirements:
3-5 years of maintenance management experience
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (PLC, controls, HVAC)
Experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment
Proven ability to lead from the front — setting direction while remaining actively engaged on the floor.
Clear communicator who can earn trust and drive buy-in from long-tenured technicians.
