Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Maintenance Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the hotel’s facilities and equipment, budgets, regulatory compliances, team management and everything in between.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotel’s facilities and equipment
  • Ensure that the maintenance budget and stock levels are controlled
  • Be fully aware and competent in all health and safety procedures
  • Ensure that there is an effective PPM schedules in place
  • Manage the onsite activity of all contractors
  • Order all maintenance supplies and ensure stock controls are in place
  • Maintain records of all machinery and equipment
  • Ensure that all fire safety equipment is maintained and tested in a timely manner
  • Arrange and co-ordinate quotations from suppliers in relation to maintenance work
  • Lead and manage a team
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures
  • Be a member of the hotel crisis and fire teams
  • Pro-actively project manage any changes in policies and procedures
  • Achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service
  • Cover shift engineer shifts as required

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience
  • preferably in a lifestyle environment
  • experience of managing MEP
  • managed projects from start to finish including responsibility for budgets
