The Summerland Farm Maintenance Leading Hand is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of equipment, assets, infrastructure, and minor building projects that support the farm's diverse operations, including farming, production, retail, events, and tourism. The role involves tasks such as welding, fabrication, repairs, and general maintenance to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification relevant to maintenance (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication, Mechanical Fitting, Welding, or related field)
  • Demonstrated experience in equipment, machinery, and infrastructure maintenance across agricultural, manufacturing, tourism, or commercial settings
  • Experience working safely with tools, machinery, and plant systems
  • Experience in a multi-business environment with competing operational priorities
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Unrestricted Australian driver's licence
  • Valid Australian working rights
