Maintenance Internship

• Help fix minor issues like broken lights, leaking taps, or clogged drains
• Report major problems to the senior staff
• Inspect equipment and building systems to find and fix small problems before they become bigger
• Assist with tasks like fixing machines or testing safety systems
• Respond to guest complaints about things like faulty air conditioners or broken fixtures
• Ensure repairs are done quickly and properly
• Help ensure the hotel meets safety rules and guidelines
• Be ready to assist in emergencies like power outages or leaks
• Keep track of tools and supplies used for maintenance
• Help maintain records of completed repairs and inspections
• Work with other hotel departments (e.g., housekeeping, front office) to solve maintenance issues
• Support senior maintenance staff with their tasks

• Basic English is a must
• Dutch is a plus
• Basic knowledge of repair work (e.g., plumbing, electrical, or carpentry)
• Problem-solving and attention to detail
• The ability to work well alone or in a team
• Good communication skills
• Physical ability to do manual work and stand for long periods
• Flexible and able to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays
