Job Description:

As a Maintenance Intern at P&H Milling, you’ll get hands-on experience in maintaining and servicing milling equipment and facilities. The intern will work closely with our maintenance team and gain valuable insights into the operational aspects of a modern flour mill.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks on milling equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machinery
  • Learn to diagnose mechanical issues and perform basic repairs under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery upgrades
  • Participate in troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and implementing corrective actions
  • Learn and follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant trade or technical program (e.g., Millwright, Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Full-time availability for a 4-month term, May – Aug 2026
