Job Description:

Join our team as a Maintenance Helper on the 3rd Shift! We’re looking for a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Maintenance Helper, you’ll performing basic maintenance tasks, preventative maintenance, general repairs, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization.

Job Responsibility:

Transport tools, parts, and equipment to and from work sites within the department
Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.) after proper certification, as required for maintenance tasks
Perform cleanup duties, including debris removal and general housekeeping of maintenance areas
Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, confined space entry, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Assist skilled technicians with minor and major mechanical and electrical repairs
Help disassemble and reassemble equipment during repairs or rebuilds
Provide physical support, such as fetching tools, lifting parts, and holding components in place during adjustments or installation

Requirements:

High School or equivalent beneficial but not required
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn industrial machinery maintenance (pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyor systems)
Ability to read and understand basic technical manuals and safety instructions
Able to stand for several hours
Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly
