Maintenance General

• Repair and preventative maintenance of plant processing equipment, troubleshooting electrical problems, instrument controllers, installation of conduit, lift trucks and equipment overhaul
• Repair and preventative maintenance of plant support systems, such as compressed air, steam, water, sewer, heating, ventilation and air conditioning etc. (refrigeration ammonia)
• Fabrication and repair, working with the variety of materials found throughout the equipment and structure
• Stainless steel fabrication and repair
• Aluminum fabrication and repair
• Ferrous metals fabrication and repair
• Industrial coatings, preparation for and application of
• Proper applications of caulking and grouting materials
• Utilization of assorted welding and cutting equipment
• Tig and stick welding
• Spot welders
• Oxy Acetylene and Plasma Torches
• Disassembly and assembly of plant equipment for cleaning repair
• Equipment changeovers for production requirements
• Repair and maintenance of pneumatic control systems
• Shop area cleaning and organization.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic mechanical background, cutting and welding knowledge
• Trade school or military training helpful
• Understanding of basic electricity, its application in an industrial setting
• Power and hand tools, various cutting and welding equipment and electrical testing equipment.
