Maintenance Fitter

• Maintaining moulding machines and related equipment to ensure maximum output
• Diagnosing and repairing machinery during breakdowns
• Performing preventive maintenance and updating maintenance schedules
• Managing spare parts – including purchasing and inventory control
• Supporting engineering projects and assisting with new equipment installations
• Keeping maintenance records up to date via our maintenance database
• Promoting and maintaining safety standards in line with company procedures
• Collaborating with production staff and participating in continuous improvement efforts.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience on lathes, mills & some welding
• Great attention to detail and record-keeping
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Clear communication skills
• Australian trade certificate
• Forklift licence (advantageous)
• Follow all company safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.
