Maintenance Fitter

• Preventative maintenance schedules & complete preventative maintenance as scheduled
• Breakdown response to ensure production downtime is minimal
• Ensuring risk assessment tools and methodology are incorporated into day to day tasks
• Conducting internal maintenance inspections
• Contribution to improvement processes

• Mechanical fitter qualification
• Experience with Marine based equipment such as vessels, outboards, winches, generators and forklifts would be beneficial
• Experience with fault finding and PLCs
• Experience with Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
• Qualified Mechanic, diesel fitter or equivalent
• Project management experience
• Good organisational and written communication skills
• Proficiency with standard IT / software systems
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated
• Show initiative and independence
• Good written and verbal communication skills to work well within a team environment
