Maintenance Fitter

Are you a Trade Qualified Fitter looking for a challenging role in the Asphalt Production industry? We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance fitter to join the current team with the Brisbane City Council. About your new role – Maintenance Fitter: You will be working within the Brisbane City Council. Asphalt & Aggregates branch. You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of plant and equipment associated with the production of asphalt products. Your expertise will ensure that customer needs are met, plant utilisation is optimised, and quality and cost-effective work is provided. Maintaining and repairing our equipment and machinery, both within the workshop and production areas. You will undertake preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns, overseeing stock, and ultimately adhering to our maintenance plans. Cutting, drilling, welding & grinding of materials.
