Job Description:

Perform all necessary Engineering Maintenance Instrumentation activities in MZLNG for conducting Maintenance efficiently and ensuring the technical integrity & required availability of equipment’s.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure safety of personnel, environment protection, and the technical integrity of equipment’s in his domain of activities, implement HSE rules and follow procedures
  • Occasionally participate in the near misses analyses, HAZOPs, technical reviews, risk assessment, safety audits, RCA, incidents and accidents analyses
  • Review periodically the preventive Instrumentation maintenance plans and adjust frequencies and tasks
  • Supervise and ensure the coherence of the scheduling of all Instrumentation work requests
  • Prepare and update monthly reports on key performance indicators (preventive, corrective, performance, cost, budget follow up)
  • Provide necessary guidance and technical expertise to all Instrumentation maintenance operations to achieve maintenance of facilities at minimum cost
  • Review documentation, procedures, safety manual and other related documents
  • Produce new procedures as necessary, in line with Company Maintenance Policy
  • Validate and approve maintenance procedures, ensure procedures are implemented
  • Ensure quality control of execution during maintenance activities
  • Provide Plant Maintenance and Reliability teams with advice & guidance in solving technical problems
  • Ensure root cause analysis of failure is done where necessary, improve reliability and reduce the number of technical failures
  • Ensure that adequate provision is made for the availability of spare parts and materials for all maintenance works. This includes the periodic review of stock, the identification and ordering of direct materials and the preparation of financial justification
  • Coordinate contract site Instrumentation activities, ensure compliance with contract deliverables, quality, safety and performance
  • Coordinate development of technical work scope of contracts, review documents, and give recommendations for contractors pre-qualification
  • Supervise vendors for provision of specialist Instrumentation services, including participating in development of technical work scope of contracts
  • Initiate and implement Instrumentation modification proposals through Management of Change system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of higher education in Instrumentation or Electronic Engineering or equivalent with international standard and solid experience
  • Minimum 15 years specific maintenance experience in oil, gas or petrochemical industry
  • Minimum 7 years in LNG producing plants, not LNG terminals
  • Experience of working with equipment such as Centrifugal compressors control and anti-surge systems, Turbines control and protection, Natural gas processing control and instrumentation, Analytical instruments, DCS, PLC utilization requirements, Loading arms instruments, FGS maintenance practice
  • Excellent knowledge of Instrumentation equipment, systems integration and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of International Instrumentation safety systems standards (including ATEX / IECEx)
  • Excellent knowledge of international applicable codes & standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, API, EN, NEMA MG1 &2, ISO related to Instrumentation machinery and environment)
  • Good knowledge of maintenance SAP (like CMMS)
  • Good Knowledge of computer applications and methods
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
