We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team and provide essential technical expertise for maintaining and preserving our building's physical assets and equipment. The ideal candidate will excel in preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), corrective maintenance (CM), emergency maintenance (EM), and unplanned repairs. This role requires a team-oriented professional who thrives in structured environments with a strong focus on troubleshooting, safety protocols, planning, and comprehensive documentation.
Job Responsibility:
Execute comprehensive maintenance programs including preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance procedures
Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to minimize operational downtime
Assess equipment failures and implement rapid response strategies
Troubleshoot and determine appropriate repair methodologies
Work with specialized equipment including milling machines, abrasive water jet systems, foam cutting technologies, and automotive paint systems
Utilize computer programs to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment status
Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities and repairs
Communicate equipment status and repair strategies effectively with the Facility Manager
Support special projects including scheduled maintenance shutdowns
Provide flexible off-shift and on-call support as operational needs require
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Proven experience in maintenance and equipment repair
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting abilities
Experience with industrial equipment maintenance preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to work effectively under pressure during emergency situations
Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor interactions and team collaboration
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple activities and manage time effectively
Physical capability for hands-on maintenance work including lifting, climbing, and working in industrial environments
Basic computer literacy required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred
Ability to learn proprietary and specialized maintenance software (on-the-job training provided)
Strong interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
Ability to work independently or as a team with minimal supervision
Strong team player mentality
Flexibility for varied work schedules including off-shifts and on-call availability as needed
