Job Description:

Maintain the hotel’s facilities, perform repairs, ensure safety, collaborate with teams, respond to emergencies, conduct preventive maintenance, and keep records at Naples Grande Beach Resort.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the hotel’s facilities are top-notch by performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • diagnose and address issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruptions for guests and staff
  • adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe environment for everyone
  • work closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to promptly address and resolve maintenance issues
  • propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • be prepared to respond to emergencies, including power outages, plumbing issues, and HVAC malfunctions
  • conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to avoid potential problems before they arise
  • maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status
  • handle various tasks and projects, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • take ownership of your role and strive for excellence in every task, big or small.

Requirements:

  • experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort
  • knowledge of 'household' repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
  • engaging and welcoming personality
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
  • excellent communication skills
  • availability to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays
  • ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout duration of shift
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
