Requirements

Experience in fault diagnosis and problem solving of both mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
Awareness of continuous improvement methods and principles
Excellent organisation, communication, and reporting skills
Exposure to equipment such as film coating machinery, vacuums, pneumatic valves, compressors, chillers and lifting equipment as a preference
Experience of COSHH, risk assessments and ISO standards.

Job Responsibility

Plan, prioritise, and complete the PPM schedule for the site
Carry out our reactive tasks including fault finding, breakdowns and repairs
Create and maintain records for proactive and reactive work
Manage the spares stock and budget
Arrange and manage service contracts for machinery and equipment.

Job Responsibility

Participation in preventative maintenance program
Respond to maintenance requests generated by staff members and guests in a timely manner
Maintenance of company property may include and is not limited to, electrical work, carpentry, painting, plumbing and general maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, meeting rooms, restaurant and lounge
Perform duties assigned by Chief Engineer or hotel management staff, including completing tasks submitted by work order
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Report emergency and unusual situations immediately
Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and hotel property
