Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer at NTS Hengelo, you are responsible for structurally improving the reliability, availability, and safety of our CNC machine park. You shift the focus from planned to predictable maintenance, increase asset availability, and provide substantive input for technical decision-making regarding the revision, modification, and phasing out of machines. You are a technical sparring partner for production, engineering, and management and effortlessly switch between daily maintenance issues and long-term improvements.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyzing and solving complex (3rd line) malfunctions of production equipment
  • Preparing and coordinating maintenance stops and legal inspections
  • Developing the maintenance management system towards condition-based and predictive maintenance
  • Advising on maintenance strategies, life-cycle costs, and revisions
  • Contributing to technical documentation, FAT/SAT, and H&S sessions

Requirements

  • HBO or university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
  • Experience in maintenance or reliability engineering within a production environment
  • Knowledge of maintenance strategies such as preventive, condition-based, and predictive maintenance
  • Experience with RCA methodologies such as 5-Why, Ishikawa, FMEA
  • Experience with maintenance management systems such as Ultimo is a plus
