The on call/seasonal engineer will work shifts as a kitchen mechanic.
Job Responsibility:
Maintenance and repairs for kitchen, restaurant and bar equipment to include but not limited to stoves, dishwashers, ice machines, deep fryers and walk-in, reach-in coolers
Perform Preventive Maintenance as assigned or required while keeping system downtime to a minimum
Requirements:
Possess good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Able to read blueprints, wiring schematics and technical manuals
Ability to read and write the English language fluently
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates
Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and Energy Management System
Interpersonal skills necessary to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction
High School graduate or equivalent required
Valid drivers’ license
Ability to stand for long hours at a time and to work in confined spaces as necessary
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to walk and stand for long hours and comfortable working with all heights
