Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within the D200 Energy Centre and Boots Beeston site
  • Making informed decisions to ensure the safe and efficient supply of utilities
  • Providing support and guidance to fellow team members
  • Responding promptly to abnormal or emergency situations to minimise disruptions
  • Participating in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work

Requirements:

  • A time-served Engineering apprenticeship
  • Significant mechanical experience
  • Understanding of industrial processes and steam systems
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations in an engineering environment
  • A full valid UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive 'can do' attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team

Nice to have:

  • Experience in fault finding and repair of industrial equipment
  • Familiarity with computer systems relevant to engineering tasks
  • Flexibility to work out of hours and shifts as required
