JRL Group's East Midlands offsite manufacturing facilities, conveniently located adjacent to the A1 in Carlton on Trent, between Retford and Newark. The JRL Group encompasses 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for the most complex construction projects nationally. JRL Modular are looking for Production Maintenance Engineer that would be interested in a permanent role manufacturing running maintenance. Previous construction experience is an advantage but again not essential. Hours: 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 7:30am to 3pm.
Job Responsibility:
Planned Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute scheduled maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance and longevity of production machinery and equipment
Reactive Maintenance: Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs to minimise downtime and maintain production targets
Production Machinery Expertise: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of production machinery, including roll forming machinery, Beam / Panel Saws
General Maintenance: Carry out building maintenance, responding promptly to repair issues around office and factories
Installation & Commissioning: Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety through process optimization and engineering solutions
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts usage in the CMMS
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures
Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to minimize disruption and support operational goals
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely availability of critical components
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing/industrial environment
