Job Description

Maintain the hotel's facilities, perform repairs, ensure safety, collaborate with teams, respond to emergencies, conduct preventive maintenance, and keep records.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the hotel’s facilities are top-notch by performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Diagnose and address issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruptions for guests and staff
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, ensuring a safe environment for everyone
  • Work closely with the front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to promptly address and resolve maintenance issues
  • Propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Be prepared to respond to emergencies, including power outages, plumbing issues, and HVAC malfunctions
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to avoid potential problems before they arise
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status
  • Handle various tasks and projects, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Take ownership of your role and strive for excellence in every task, big or small.

Requirements

  • experience working in a Maintenance role at a hotel or resort
  • knowledge of 'household' repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

  • available to work various shifts to include weekends and holidays
