Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Prepare and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all production and Material Handling Equipments, Utility equipment.etc; Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and service history records in coordination with QA and production teams; Implement predictive maintenance techniques (vibration, thermal, visual inspection,etc.) for critical assets like EOT cranes, DG,Compressors, Forklifts, Pressure Pipelines etc. Breakdown Maintenance: Attend to equipment breakdowns on priority to minimise downtime; Diagnose root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions; Coordinate with OEMs/service providers for specialised repairs. Equipment & Utility Management: Oversee maintenance of EOT cranes, welding machines, cutting machines, paint booths, ovens, compressors, and DG sets; Ensure proper operation and upkeep of electrical panels, cabling, and safety interlocks; Monitor energy and air consumption, identify loss points, and recommend improvements. Safety, Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to electrical and mechanical safety standards; Conduct periodic safety inspections and maintain statutory records (earthing, lifting tools, compressor logbooks, etc.); Support ISO 9001/14001/45001 and factory audit compliance related to maintenance. Vendor & Spare Parts Management: Raise indents for maintenance spares and consumables; Evaluate AMC vendors and service contracts for cranes, compressors, and paint booths; Maintain optimum stock of critical spares to avoid equipment downtime.
