Maintenance Engineer

• Troubleshooting and Breakdown Maintenance: Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on a variety of SPMs
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify the source of machine failures and implement effective, long-term countermeasures
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime
• Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Execute and optimize planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency
• Utilize predictive maintenance techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging) to anticipate potential failures
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment history records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Equipment Improvement and Upgrades: Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to implement engineering changes and new equipment installations
• Lead or support projects for the retrofitting or commissioning of new SPMs
• Technical Expertise & Training: Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior engineers and maintenance technicians
• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintenance manuals
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology, including PLC, HMI, and robotics
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in strict accordance with safety protocols and company policies
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team
• Ensure all equipment and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial machinery, with a significant focus on Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) or complex automated systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems (e.g., gears, shafts, bearings, ball screws)
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and components
• Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, including sensors, actuators, and motor drives
• Knowledge of PLC programming logic (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and HMI systems is a must
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs

Master's degree for Senior Engineer level
