Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security and structural systems and elements of resort buildings and facilities.

Requirements:
High school diploma/GED, supplemented by technical or college course work training in a trade
Background with working at a hotel/resort or related is preferred
(2) years of journey-level work in facilities, plant construction, plant operations, or maintenance and repair
OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.)
Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed
Fluent in English language, must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks during the work shift
Must show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity
Works well in stressful, high-pressure situations – fast paced environment
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns or issues raised by coworkers and/or guests
