Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise production downtime
• Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
• Assist with general factory and building maintenance tasks
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function
• Maintain accurate maintenance records where required

• NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship
• Minimum of 2 years' engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical control systems
• Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment faults effectively
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable
• Hands-on, proactive, and results-driven approach
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attendance and timekeeping record
