This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our manufacturing assets running safely and efficiently, supporting production performance, product quality and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in responding to breakdowns, executing preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment reliability across a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, diagnose faults and restore equipment to minimise production downtime
Plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance aligned to production priorities
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance asset reliability and efficiency
Collaborate with production teams, engineers and contractors to ensure effective planning and execution of maintenance activities
Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with GMP, safety and quality standards
Requirements:
Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG or high-volume manufacturing
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability
Experience with preventative maintenance and breakdown response
Exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
Nice to have:
Experience working in GMP or regulated environments
Experience using CMMS systems
