Job Responsibility

  • Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities, splitting your time between hands-on tasks and supervisory duties
  • Ensure prompt completion of Job Request forms and required Permits for all works
  • Monitor and optimise plant performance through effective maintenance systems
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and provide recommendations for their appointments
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and promote safe working practices
  • Support the General Services Manager and client with your technical expertise

Requirements

  • Full qualification as a C&G level 3 (2365) or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in facilities management environments, ideally with a background in building services and plant engineering
  • Experience as an Authorised Person in disciplines like LV or Mechanical Services
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a numerate and computer literate approach
  • Must possess a valid driving license

  • Plans and performs complex corrective and preventative maintenance requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles
  • Will be required to understand and baseline the current state in terms of the effectiveness of work order planning and scheduling and cost (materials, resources, time) implications
  • Master the basics of the CMMS system utilized at the plant (i.e. SAP-PM) and become knowledgeable with system reporting and work order systems and methods – gaps will be identified, and a formal improvement plan developed and put into place
  • Work with all plant groups & levels and within each of the aspect of the equipment maintenance team, including suppliers, OEM representatives, contractors, internal and external auditors, and all SQF, GMP and Supply Chain (purchasing) groups
  • Optimize and effectively accomplish all work and work orders (from break down to condition based) and lead in the development of rules and controls over the planning and scheduling efforts
  • Contributes to measurable improvements in scheduled, unscheduled and break down maintenance related down time and the costs associated with these events to contribute to CPC (cost per case) goals for the plant.
