Qualified Electrician with a completed apprenticeship
At least 2 years of experience in a heavy industrial setting
Proven ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause failure analysis
Experience with low-voltage systems, drives, and PLCs

Strong verbal and written communication skills
In-depth knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation

Job Responsibility

Manage the smooth operation and maintenance of the plant's electrical systems
Perform planned and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
Troubleshoot electrical issues with AC/DC motors, drives, and relay control circuits
Handle basic PLC fault finding on Siemens S7 systems (300, 1200, and 1500)
Read electrical schematics and use computerized maintenance management systems (MMS)
Propose and implement improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and efficiency
Strictly follow all Health and Safety protocols and SSOW
Support departmental improvement initiatives

Job Responsibility

Act as a support to the production team, responding timely to ondemand requests from the Production Supervisors to collaborate and solution production concerns
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including PLC and motor controls, safety sensors, drives, bearings and gears
Provide timely maintenance support for all entities under the Hayter’s Farm umbrella, including but not limited to, barns and employee accommodations

Collaborate with third-party vendors utilizing their industry expertise
