Job Description:

In this role, you will provide critical engineering and maintenance services across manufacturing and administration, playing a key part in supporting our business growth and sustainability projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintenance Coordination: Manage breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance for plant, equipment, and buildings
  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical expertise to solve complex reliability and performance issues
  • Project Support: Assist the engineering team with the design, fabrication, construction, and commissioning of improvement projects
  • Contractor Management: Oversee contractor performance, ensuring all site safety rules and environmental requirements are strictly followed
  • Data Analysis: Use maintenance history to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved equipment efficiency
  • Technical Execution: Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, panels, and fixtures, including troubleshooting PLC I/O, sensors, and drives

Requirements:

  • Must currently be living in Australia with full working rights
  • Must have an A Grade Electrical License
  • Must have PLC and DCS experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or Heavy Industrial environment
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial work, preferably within the chemical industry
  • Licensing: Must hold an Unrestricted Electrical Licence
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS automation systems (Siemens experience highly regarded)
  • Experience with electrical equipment in hazardous areas
  • Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations
  • Safety: Working at Heights certification and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Project Mindset: Experience in managing small capital projects and PPM processes is a plus
