NOW HIRING - Maintenance Director for Long Term Care Facility. As a 'hands-on' maintenance director for a long-term care facility, your role is vital in ensuring that the physical environment is safe, comfortable, and conducive to the well-being of residents and staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of the facility's physical structure, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that the facility complies with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, building codes, and health regulations
  • Equipment Management: Manage the maintenance and repair of medical equipment, appliances, and other devices used in the facility
  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Supervision: Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to ensure that tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement plans for emergency preparedness and response, including procedures for natural disasters, power outages, and other emergencies
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services or repairs beyond the scope of the in-house team
