The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for organizing and supporting maintenance operations to ensure equipment, facilities, and systems are operating effectively. This role coordinates repair requests, preventative maintenance schedules, vendor services, and maintenance records while helping minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.
Job Responsibility
Coordinate daily maintenance requests and service activities
Schedule preventative maintenance for equipment, machinery, and building systems
Track work orders and ensure timely completion of repairs
Communicate with internal teams, technicians, contractors, and vendors regarding maintenance needs
Maintain maintenance logs, service records, warranties, and related documentation
Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts
Assist with vendor selection, service scheduling, and invoice tracking
Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards
Follow up on unresolved maintenance issues and escalate when necessary
Support facility inspections and identify areas requiring repair or improvement
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, costs, and service performance
Assist with emergency repair coordination when needed
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
associate’s degree or technical training preferred
1+ years of maintenance, facilities, operations, or coordination experience preferred
Strong organizational and scheduling skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance/work order systems
Basic understanding of building systems, equipment maintenance, or mechanical processes preferred
