Job Description

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is seeking full – time experienced Maintenance Tech candidates to join the maintenance team. The facility maintenance staff must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission. The facility maintenance staff must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission's Statement of Faith. Job Summary: The position reports to the Director of Maintenance and will provide support in the day-to-day building maintenance, operational activities and repairs at all Mission facilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Performs hands-on maintenance related activities including: painting, plumbing, electrical, patching walls, repairing doors, windows, locks, etc.
  • Communicates regularly with Director of Maintenance to ensure good two-way communication concerning maintenance issues
  • Carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
  • Utilizes computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history of facilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs. safely
  • Maintains an acceptable driving record (in accordance with our insurance carrier)
