The Maintenance Coordinator is to coordinate and perform routine and preventative maintenance and minor repairs at the venue. This position will perform a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building. In addition to performing the skill the position will support a team of Maintenance Technicians performing a variety of said skills.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and perform routine and preventative maintenance and minor repairs at the venue.
Perform a variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.
Support a team of Maintenance Technicians performing a variety of said skills.
Works with a team of Technicians to Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance as necessary to maintain facility appearance to high level of standards. Performing preventative maintenance when necessary.
Works with a team of Technicians to Service, maintain, install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair all necessary attraction equipment
Works with a team of Technicians to Complete required maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Ensures that repairs are made in a way that is safe and in compliance with the relevant laws and licensing authority regulations.
Works with a team of Technicians to Conduct attraction walk-through to ensure all fixtures and equipment are operational prior to and during all events
Work with building management and third party vendors to ensure proper installation and/or repairs of certain equipment
Advises when an outside contractor may be necessary. Reviews contractor estimates to ensure that the estimates accurately reflect the required repairs and reasonable job costs.
Perform related duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical trade school preferred
2 -3 years’ experience providing maintenance support in various maintenance techniques and trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
Ability to work safely with hands and power tools and have the ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
Ability to be on feet and walk long distances, which may include climbing ladders and staircases
Proven ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks in an efficient and timely fashion
Professional and personable. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Willingness to work in a rapidly changing, diverse environment and a willingness to accommodate the schedule in an attraction and events venue
Ability to work non-traditional hours based on attraction schedule (nights, weekends and holidays as necessary).
