Job Description:

Provides administrative and operational support to facility maintenance functions to ensure the smooth operation of facility maintenance activities and providing timely assistance to facility maintenance teams. Assists in coordinating maintenance requests, managing work orders, maintaining maintenance records, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintains and repairs grounds, exterior structures, buildings, equipment, and related utilities
  • Inspects malfunctioning equipment and assists with corrective actions required to restore machinery to satisfactory operating conditions
  • Assists with monitoring the work environment and identifies potential equipment safety hazards that need to be addressed
  • Prepares emergency plans and maintains physical preparedness designed to assist and protect employees in emergency situations
  • Communicates assignments of asset management system work orders
  • Completes training programs that focus on basic maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Prepares weekly maintenance operational calendars that outline upcoming events and project schedules
  • Coaches junior colleagues on maintenance best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Assists with the training of junior-level staff to promote the development of departmental capabilities

Requirements:

  • Less than 1 year work experience
