Job Description

As a Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the machines. You will plan, lay out, and perform a wide range of installation, maintenance, service, and repair work on a variety of complex mechanical and electrical equipment in all areas of the plant and office.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, lay out, and perform installation, maintenance, service, and repair work on complex mechanical and electrical equipment in plant and office
  • Work from job instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications, plant layouts, manufacturer's installation of maintenance manuals
  • Provide service, maintenance and repair to machines, equipment and facilities including automatic screw machines, presses, casting and plating equipment, conveyers, ovens, welding apparatus, plumbing, air and hydraulic apparatus, heating equipment, lighting and power circuits, electrical controls, transformers, switchboard, and control panels
  • Answer service or trouble calls, diagnose, trace and isolate cause of malfunction
  • Tear down equipment, repair or replace defective parts
  • Make sketches of repair parts
  • Select and specify belts, pulleys, bearings, gears, and other parts
  • Perform welding, brazing, piping, wiring, carpentry, and other maintenance duties
  • Maintain work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Make reports and maintain records
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work weekends and overtime
  • Ability to follow Safety Standards and Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required
  • Dependable, honest, and quick learner, good communication skills and a team player
  • Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.
