Job Responsibility

  • Handle general maintenance work and record-keeping within the care home
  • Guarantee all Compliance and Mandatory checks are completed and recorded
  • Prioritise a safe environment for all residents and colleagues
  • Maintain all equipment to the highest standard
  • Keep garden areas, driveways, and paths tidy and welcoming
  • Follow all purchasing routines as outlined by Meallmore Ltd

Requirements

  • Experience in maintenance, ideally in healthcare or senior living environments
  • Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills
  • Problem-solving and keen eye for detail
  • Self-motivation and time management
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Clean and safe work area maintenance
  • Basic IT skills
  • Willingness to learn

  • Ensuring flower beds and planted areas are well presented and maintained, including weeding and planting new flowers
  • Changing gas bottles safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring bin bays are always kept clean and tidy
  • Responding to guest enquiries in a friendly and proactive manner, collaborating with the wider park teams to resolve any issues promptly
  • Performing pitch tidies and assisting with the moving and siting of holiday homes
  • Working independently and with integrity, completing assigned maintenance tasks to the highest standard while seeking support from your manager or wider team when needed
