Job Responsibility

Assisting with ensuring that the service, buildings, facilities and equipment requirements are maintained and fit for purpose
Utilising good DIY skills to ensure safety of service users is maintained
Assisting in regular checks and maintenance
Assisting in the repair and maintenance of all buildings
Assisting in all decorating
Liaising with a manager reporting all faults and defects
Participating in a 1 week retaining on-call rota for the purposes of emergency maintenance
Coordinating and supporting contractors whilst on site and completing of all paperwork and tool checks

Follow all assigned fueling instructions
Fabricate new tools and equipment as needed
Follow preventative maintenance schedules for all hatchery equipment such as hydroelectric turbine generators, diesel generators, front-end loaders, pickup trucks, gas pumps, outboard motors, welders, cement mixers, steam cleaners, pressure washers, snow removal equipment, and power tools
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and necessary repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure operational efficiency
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine solutions by referencing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs
Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
