Job Description

As Maintenance Area Leader at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring the continuous and trouble-free operation of production.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with your team leaders to support your team in carrying out tasks in your area of responsibility
  • Ensure the training and mentoring of team members
  • Take charge of coaching and developing team leaders and technical associates in your automated area
  • Drive overall performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement to help your team achieve their targets
  • Play a lead role in maintaining operations that adhere to legal and internal standards for safety, environmental protection, cleanliness, and ergonomics
  • Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders to address availability issues and minimize technical downtimes
  • Monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Oversee maintenance operations within your area, including special activities such as weekend maintenance, shutdowns, and major repairs
  • Engage in the planning processes for technical modifications and the optimization of new production facilities

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years in an industrial maintenance leadership role or similar positions within the automotive industry, particularly in highly automated production environments
  • Fluency in Hungarian and intermediate English is required
  • Strong sustainable leadership qualities and skills to effectively guide and develop your team
  • Willingness to work in shifts
