Do you want to work in the delicious world of muffins, moelleux, and ice cream? As a Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technician, you ensure that our high-quality production lines in Waregem are always running at full speed! You will be joining Emmi Desserts (formerly Mademoiselle Desserts), an international company known for its top-quality bakery products. To prepare for the busy summer period, we are looking for a dedicated technician who is already settled in the region to strengthen our team.

Job Responsibility

  • You carry out preventive maintenance on our advanced bakery and packaging installations to proactively prevent malfunctions
  • In the event of technical defects, you quickly identify the root cause and ensure a sustainable repair
  • You support the operators in optimally setting up and adjusting complex packaging lines
  • Together with the team, you actively contribute ideas for technical improvements
  • You accurately register your actions in the system so that the maintenance history and parts inventory are always up-to-date

Requirements

  • You have a technical degree in the field of electromechanics or maintenance technology
  • Experience with industrial machinery is a major asset, especially if you have worked within the food industry
  • You have a solid basic knowledge of electricity and mechanics and are eager to learn more about PLC controls
  • You are accurate, quality-conscious, and always have a problem-solving mindset
  • You speak fluent English or Dutch (English is the main language on our production floor)
