Job Responsibility

  • Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of the plant’s Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs
  • Conduct root cause and failure analyses to eliminate recurring issues and drive long?term equipment reliability
  • Oversee maintenance procedures, PM tasks, schedules, and reliability standards across the facility
  • Define and manage critical spare parts inventory while maintaining cost?effective stocking levels
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Quality to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient plant performance
  • Coordinate inspections, capital project support, and contractor activities
  • Provide hands?on technical guidance to maintenance technicians and supervisors
  • Build capability across the team through structured training, mentoring, and performance management
  • Uphold all company policies and enforce OSHA safety compliance within the maintenance organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Chemical plant background strongly preferred, ideally on chlor-alkali
  • 5–15 years of strong maintenance and reliability experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing technicians and/or supervisors
  • Solid track record improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime
  • Hands?on capability with maintenance planning, PM optimization, and failure analysis
  • Experience with spare parts strategy, CMMS systems, and reliability methodologies
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and comfort being physically present in plant areas
