The Maintenance & Reliability Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimising maintenance activities across the site to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing assets. This role plays a critical part in improving plant reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting long-term asset performance through structured planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Develop detailed maintenance work plans, including job scopes, task sequencing, labour allocation, and required materials
Create and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimise unplanned downtime
Analyse equipment performance, failure data, and maintenance trends to drive reliability improvements
Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
Use maintenance planning software (e.g., SAP, Pronto, MEX, Maximo) to manage work orders, spare parts, and scheduling
Maintain accurate asset histories, work orders, and task records within the CMMS
Coordinate with teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure efficient, safe, and well-planned maintenance execution
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent) with experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or reliability engineering
