Associa Principal Management Group of North Texas is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance & Compliance Officer to support a large, well-established HOA community in the Crandall, TX area. This vibrant community offers residents a variety of amenities, making it a wonderful place to live. The Maintenance & Compliance Officer will be employed by Principal Management Group and based onsite at the HOA community. This role involves conducting routine maintenance tasks and repairs across HOA-owned facilities and community infrastructures, as well as performing weekly compliance inspections of residential properties. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on maintenance skills with strong organizational and reporting abilities to help maintain a safe, attractive, and compliant community environment. This position will report to the onsite General Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs across HOA facilities, community common areas, and infrastructure, following established procedures and safety standards
Conduct weekly inspections of residential properties for compliance with HOA rules and regulations
Prepare and submit detailed weekly maintenance and compliance reports to management
Track and document compliance violations using C3 and TownSq systems
Communicate promptly with management regarding maintenance issues and compliance matters
Safely handle, transport, and move equipment and materials as required
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks when necessary
Maintain a professional presence and positive relationship within the community while representing the HOA and Associa Principal Management Group of North Texas
Provide emergency maintenance support as needed, on a case-by-case basis
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HOA maintenance, facilities management, or a closely related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn and utilize HOA management systems such as C3 and TownSq
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and homeowner interactions
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials weighing 50 pounds or more
Reliable personal vehicle required for community inspections
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor when interacting with homeowners, vendors, and contractors
Must pass a background check and drug screening
