Deal with enquiries from New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai — even from national governments? Join us! The in-house IBS platform is the core system of KBC Global Services and this is your unique opportunity to get your hands on it in Czechia. We’re looking for people of various seniorities so whether you just started with development or you're a seasoned Mainframe professional, let's connect! This role is a long-term commitment. Only the training period takes up to 2 years! You’ll work with this technology stack: PL/1, COBOL, DB2 environment, Java C++

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain the IBS platform
  • Writing code (PL/1, maintenance mostly)
  • Testing (ChangeMan, IDZ/GitHub platform)
  • Performance tuning
  • Process release
  • Write documentation (easy-to-understand one-pagers) and obtain images for retrospective incident discussion
  • Actively cooperate with other teams

Requirements:

  • Experience with any of the following: PL/I, COBOL, DB2 environment
  • Excellent English skills
  • Good communication skills & being a team player
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing Mainframes (preferably in business) will be a huge advantage
  • Secondary education or professional training with a school-leaving exam
