Job Description:

Citi Enterprise Command Center (Mainframe Operations) provides the first line operations monitoring and support for Citi's core Mainframe infrastructure used for global financial functions. The position involves leading the L1-L2 Mainframe support team, improving operational efficiency, ensuring high availability configurations, and maintaining team collaboration. This role requires technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Job Responsibility:

Own the technical performance of the team members
Provide constant training and exposure to the latest Z IBM Mainframe technology
Develop the teams to increase efficiency of problem resolution techniques
Ensure understanding of applications and critical business functions
Coordinate the shortest path to repair-resume
Lead a diverse team
Develop the vision and implement a plan for future improvements
Be involved in advanced infrastructure build, problem management, and service improvement.

Requirements:

Demonstrated 8-10 years of experience leading teams of technologists preferably in a comparable technology complexity or financial institutions organization on the Z platform-Mainframe for high availability configurations and operations
Experience building strong, effective teams maintaining impeccable performance
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in high stress situations
Open and willing to learning and sharing your knowledge with the team and helping them achieve their goals and upskill constantly
Positive attitude with the drive to get the work done partnering with other units at different levels
Have to enjoy collaborating and working as part of a cross discipline team in difficult conversation and challenging personalities
You need to demonstrate cases where you continuously were looking for ways to improve operations and succeeded
Good solid understanding the importance of prioritization of your work
Providing a great experience for your team and your internal customers is important to you.
