Job Description:

Sopra Steria is looking for a Mainframe Application Support Technical Lead in Chennai, India, with expertise in Mainframe technologies (Cobol, JCL, IMS DB, VSAM) and hands-on experience in modernization and production support activities. Familiarity with ITIL framework and additional knowledge in TELON, CA7, and Mainframe enhancement skills is preferred. The position requires a total experience of 6-8 years and relevant qualifications such as BE, B-Tech, or MCA. Shift work is required, with flexibility to learn new skills. BAU Operations like incident management
Troubleshooting
Production support

Requirements:

Technology: Mainframe (Cobol, JCL, IMS DB, VSAM)
Mainframe Technical Enhancement experience, Knowledge/Experience about Mainframe Modernization activities
BAU Operations like incident management, Troubleshooting skills / Production support experience
Familiar in ITIL framework (Incident, problem, change management)
Database skills: IMS DB
Preferable: Knowledge in TELON, CA7 scheduling, IzWS, Connect Direct, TGS Work Bench, AMI DevX, AMI Ops, Mainframe Development/Enhancement skills/Modernization exposure
