Job Responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end processing of daily incoming mail, including collection, sorting, and accurate distribution to internal departments and individuals
  • Prepare outgoing mail for pick-up, including running postage and ensuring proper packaging for both domestic and international correspondence
  • Handle and distribute packages from various shipping providers (e.g., courier services) internally
  • Digitally process physical mail by scanning and emailing documents to appropriate recipients for remote or paperless handling
  • Process sensitive external correspondence, including preparing, mailing, and faxing specific payroll-related documents
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security protocols when handling all sensitive documents, particularly those related to payroll and employee information
  • Perform general mailroom duties such as stamping envelopes, stuffing catalogs and letters, and breaking down postage
  • Pick up mail from designated off-site locations
  • Engage in physical tasks, including some lifting and walking across the campus for internal deliveries

Requirements

  • Availability to work a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • 8 hours per day)
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in basic computer and administrative tasks, including document scanning, email communication, and operating a fax machine
  • Physical ability to walk and carry mail across an office campus for internal distribution
  • Possess a high level of integrity and dependability, with proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
  • Equivalent work experience in a mailroom or administrative support role
