Job Description:

Join Our Team as a Mail Operative! As a Mail Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the mailroom. This temporary position is set to start on 1st August 2025 and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile client's mailroom service. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mail Operative to join our client's operations in Reading.

Job Responsibility:

Customer Service Excellence: Represent our client with professionalism and enthusiasm, promoting outstanding customer service at all times
Mail Management: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail efficiently
Client Interaction: Handle inquiries from clients both face-to-face and over the phone with a friendly approach
Document Handling: File and retrieve documents within our established filing system
Courier Coordination: Book and receive courier items, ensuring timely delivery and receipt
Archiving Processes: Process archive files and track signature movements using onsite computer systems
Flexibility in Duties: Be prepared to tackle any additional responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager or client

Requirements:

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour

Attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to handle manual tasks and engage with various aspects of mailroom operations
