Job Description:

Macro Credit CDS Trader position with Wells Fargo's Credit Investment Grade Trading Desk, focusing on managing risk positions across high grade credit, developing trade ideas, and maintaining client relationships

Job Responsibility:

Effectively manage risk positions across high grade credit within Wells Fargo's trading mandate
Work with desk strategists and sales force to source and develop unique trade ideas
Create and maintain relationships with buy-side trading counterparts, internal business partners, and internal sales and trading personnel

Requirements:

7+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
5+ years of credit trading experience with background in trading, institutional investing, or other relevant capital markets experience in CDS markets
Extensive credit product knowledge inclusive of bonds, ETFs, and credit derivatives
Strong analytical skills for corporate asset class, sector, industry, issuer, and product valuation & risk analysis
Strong quantitative and technical skillset for Portfolio Trading, Electronic Trading and Hedging/Capital optimization
In-depth understanding of risk management and regulatory/capital requirements
Established relationships across credit markets including buy-side clients
Adaptive skillset and ability to work in fast-paced trading environment
Organized, affable, and able to work in collegial, team-oriented environment
Self-motivated with exceptional communication skills
Registration for FINRA Series 7/63/SIE, and 55/57 within 90 days of hire
NFA Swap Dealer and SEC Security-Based Swap Dealer AP Designation required

Nice to have:

5+ years of credit trading experience with background in CDS markets at bank, corporate trading desk and/or investing client
Established relationships across credit markets including buy-side clients
