Job Responsibility
Operate and monitor CNC/PLC equipment to meet control plan requirements
Troubleshoot alarms, faults, and perform minor repairs to maintain production
Record defects, rework, and scrap per non-conformance procedures
Monitor tooling wear and perform tool changes to ensure quality
Partner with team members on process improvements and error-proofing
Train and certify machine technicians to quality and performance standards
Review work instructions and control plans and escalate deviations as needed
Enter production and quality data and review digital performance metrics
Verify gage calibration and monitor critical characteristics
Proactively assess equipment to minimize downtime
Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards and maintain a clean work area
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Positive attitude and alignment with company values
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performance manufacturing environment
Computer literacy with the ability to enter and review digital production data
Customer-focused and results-driven mindset
Willingness to work any shift as required
Ability to walk, sit, stand, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds, and perform reaching and head and neck movements for up to 10 hours per shift
Ability to work in an environment with exposure to noise, fumes, solvents, grease, oils, radiant energy, and slippery surfaces
Nice to have
Metal-cutting machining experience
Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
Experience operating production machinery
Technical College certificate in Machine Tool Technology or a similar discipline
