Job Responsibility:
Address machine breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical systems
Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment
perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate records
Monitor in-process quality, perform quality control checks, and adhere to safety and environmental procedures
Support upstream and downstream operations, perform rework, and work effectively in a team environment
Perform other tasks as assigned to support business needs
Requirements:
Mechanical troubleshooting experience
Background in car engines, boat engines, HVAC systems, and low voltage electronics and sensors
Proficiency with feeler gauges and other measurement tools
Familiarity with mechanical components such as cams, cam-followers, rod-ends, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, vacuum systems, and pneumatic systems
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
Strong mechanical troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and tool use skills
Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
Proven mechanical troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of mechanical systems and components
Ability to manage the physical demands of the role
Nice to have:
High-speed manufacturing and auto mechanical work experience
