Technical Associates (TAs) play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing the production machinery and systems. The position is focused on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibility:
Perform regular maintenance and inspections of mechanical and electrical systems
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend machinery lifespan
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components (e.g., gears, belts, hydraulics) and electrical systems (e.g., wiring, circuits, control panels)
Collaborate with the team to develop and implement maintenance strategies
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Keep accurate maintenance records, including repairs and equipment performance logs
Assist in the setup and commissioning of new machinery and systems
Stay updated with new mechanical and electrical technologies
Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety protocols
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
Proven background as a Mechanical and Electrical Technician in a manufacturing or related setting
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, control panels, and circuits
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair expertise
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Knowledge of safety regulations in manufacturing
Minimum High School Diploma or GED preferred
Technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical maintenance (preferred)
